If you don't want to debate it then why are you still going on about it?
Pot calling the kettle black, yes?
No.

Yes it is, you see a debate takes 2 people. Your the other person.

Now for reals, thats the end. I said my piece, you said yours. Let it go.

Einar, if its not up for debate then it shouldn't have been brought up at all. If you feel the need to share your opinion then you need to be ready to defend it. Or just think before you post next time.

Since you've said such a strong statement, I want to add my two cents on the topic. Ignore it if you want(I don't mean that rudely just civilly).

There's NOTHING wrong with James Rolfe getting more money than he asked for.

He never cried the blues saying the film wouldn't get made if he didn't get $300k, or even the $75k for that matter. Initially, plans were for the film to be mainly financed via outside sources. If that was the case, he would have had to concede some of his creative control over to his producers.

From the beginning of this process his whole plan was straight forward. He didn't trick anybody into doing anything. Most of the content James Rolfe provides is totally free (save for things like DVDs and what have ya and merchandise), so this donation process was seen as an opportunity from some fan's to give back for all of the free content they've received.

Now don't get me wrong, I know you're not a fan of AVGN, we've all been through this before. But the quality of the finished product is irrelevant, and for you to think that James Rolfe should/could fund this himself and that fans' enthusiasm should be translated into greed is borderline ignorant. The fans who donated knew exactly what they're getting into and could have just stopped once he got to $75k.

Also, Dragon was certainly not calling the kettle black. He was obviously open to a debate and would have, had you wanted to.

This is a harmless topic, and Dragon is an open minded person, there's nothing wrong with a friendly debate. We're discussing an internet "celebrity" who makes videos from his basement, not religion or abortion. Now, if we were to start debating again, it'd feel a bit forced, so this post isn't meant to try to get you back into the fray of the topic. I want you to at least just listen to what we have to say and perhaps just think about it for next time there's a difference of opinion. Though if you do have anything to say on this particular matter in the future, you know where to find us!

So the Nintendo Direct is going on now. It's only in Japanese, but they show pictures.

- It's Kirby's 20th anniversary so I wonder what they're planning for that. They mentioned something about 3D Classics Kirby.
- Just Dance stuff.
- Pokemon Black and White 2 video. Nothing new though.
- Pokemon AR thing for 3DS. Kinda like a Face raiders thing where you shoot pokemon.
- Pokemon Pokedex Pro for 3DS, I think. Has Black 2 and White 2 Pokemon info. Both seem to be 3DS downloads.
- Guild 01 by Level 5 for 3DS. Looks like four different games in one.
- Dragon Quest Monsters for 3DS
- Etrian Odyssey IV for 3DS. That's been known for a while.
- Some Japanese toy robot fighting anime game. And a Taiko Drum Master for 3DS.
- Rune Factory 4 for 3DS.
- Project X Zone video. Looks kinda cool.
- Mario Tennis Open video. Mii customization video and new characters revealed.
- Some download RPG looking game. Club Nintendo cards as well? Twitter is involved. Looked like a system update thing, but there's a lot of Japanese here.
- Some soccer game.
- Yeah system update. You can create folders on the menu screen now.
- Kid Icarus Uprising video. Didn't see anything new.
- Fire Emblem 3DS gameplay video.
- Monster Hunter Tri 3G and Theatrythm mentions.
- Animal Crossing 3DS
- NEW SUPER MARIO BROS. 2
- I'm reading now the system update will allow patches or something? Mario Kart 7 is to have patches? Wonder what this is all about.

So far the only new stuff is downloadable Pokemon titles? That's a shame. . .is it still going on?

EDIT: Nevermind, the Kirby stuff is sounding pretty cool!

Alright looks like it's over. Just showing game videos now. The highlights for me were the new system update and New Super Mario Bros. 2.
Spoiler: click to toggle

System update will be available 4/25 here in the US. NSMB2 will be released in August.
NOA Twitter is announcing a Kirby 20th Anniversary compilation for Wii. Hope it's better than Mario All Stars.

There hasn't been a Kirby comp before has there?

At least that forces them to put forth a little bit more effort :P. But I'd love to see which titles will be on it.

Also really cool to see NSMB2!

I enjoyed NSMB for DS quite a bit, but I hope this is more on par with the Wii version.

Also the folder update is quite nice. It'll make organization quite handy.

Apparently Mario Kart 7's patch is to fix shortcut issues.
