Apparently Mario Kart 7's patch is to fix shortcut issues.
Ah yes, the Maka Wuhu glitch where you can skip half the track. Seems everyone knows about it and uses it though. My 7 year old nephew actually showed me he knew how to do it. I was kind of surprised.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I saw your older response, and I understand completely, I hope there is no hard feelings!

In other news:

RUMOR: MML3 Prototype Version Could Hit eShop if Album sells well

I find that really odd, and slightly silly if true, but at the same time, I want it to be true. . .

IT BEGINS!

Jim Sterling was right developers are going to start holding their games hostage!

Seriously though, I don't believe it. And even if true, I want MML3 as much as the next person but I will not buy something to get the chance to buy something to BUY SOMETHING ELSE!

Just out of curiosity was it a Jim Sterling article or video?

I'm a fan of Mr. Sterling, he usually tells things how it is, I'd like to read/see his opinion on that.

But yeah, I agree, if this is legit, I'm not going to buy the album just for the sake of getting the game. Only if the album actually had some bodacious tracks :P, but I doubt that.

I really do want MML3, but the whole thing just sounds ridiculous. Capcom knows we want that game, otherwise why would they tease MML3 Prototype like that? Just release the thing and see how it does.

I think I am gonna speak for everyone on this issue with this.

Capcom, release the prototype version. I will buy it, and if it doesn't reach your sales expectations and you don't want to release the game. FINE I can live with that, but don't make me have to work for the "privilege" to buy your game!

I wholeheartedly agree.

Assuming that this is actually true, the fact that Capcom is essentially dangling the game above our heads and using it as bait to buy other things (I won't exactly say "unrelated things" since this album is for reprisals of the MML soundtracks) is downright insulting. They know the fan support is there, and it appears that they do want to release the game, so why can't they just do it already? We've been through enough crap already. Mega Man has been through enough crap already. Get your act together, Capcom. There's a reason (well, several reasons) why people are pissed at you.

Agreed, the Prototype had to have been finished or nearly finished.

Release it with the warning that the full version may never come, and see how it goes.

At this point I don't see what they'll lose.
