Well it looks like we got that update a day early. I certainly needed it as I had a ton of icons cluttering my menu. The folders are handy, but kinda bare bones. They're just a blue folder icon. It's not a bad thing, but it does make the menu look a little bland. I was hoping you could at least change their color. The first letter of the folder name will be on the icon. I got three G folders for my GB, GBC, and GBA games. It's no big deal, but hopefully we'll get a future update that allows more customization.

And the eShop got a small update. Nothing big, just a minor cosmetic change.

Update Coming For Mighty Switch Force

Gives us 5 free levels, quick retry, and an enhanced 3D effect.

Also, the DSiware version of Cave Story will be getting an eShop update.

3D effect, wide screen resolution, and some extra features that were in other versions of the game.

Though I'll be getting the retail version, this news pleases me.

Mario Kart 7 Update Available
And a new update for the 3DS itself, though nothing new added, I assume just more stuff for patches and killing flash carts.

Oh man, Maka Wuhu is fixed. I wonder if anybody unaware of the glitch will still try to choose Maka Wuhu. There will be some sad people needlessly jumping into the ocean. I got to try this out.

It'll be pretty funny to see!

Luckily, you are forced to update to play online now (or by tomorrow, something like that) so there won't be any stragglers online.

Lol, that's hilarious. I guess I was one of the few that didn't even know about the shortcut. It's been a while since I played online though. It seems like Nintendo has handled this patching very well :)

And NSMB2 will be available digitally? Seriously? Like Einar I'll probably still get the full retail version of the game, but the idea of being able to play without having to switch game cards and carry it with you is mighty appealing. The only problem I foresee with it is needing larger SD cards (I am using a 4GB for my 3DS instead of the 2GB that it came with).

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
Info on the new Castlevania game for the 3DS

I believe it was already confirmed to be 2D, but it doesn't seem like it...I really hope it doesn't play like Lords of Shadow despite having the name. I played the demo and got bored very quickly. God of War style gameplay just doesn't do it for me for some reason.

Yeah Lords of Shadow was extremely boring to me too (unfortunately I bought it, but thankfully for only $15, though I do want to beat it, hopefully it'll pick up).

I was extremely saddened when I saw the screenshots and saw it wasn't 2D, but I am keeping hope out for some video and hoping for the best.

EDIT: This makes me feel better.

I still don't like MercurySteam making the title, I wish the handheld Castlevania team was working on it, but I at least have hope.
