Any news on if these games will be downloadable? I wonder how much of a success downloadable NSMB2 has been for Nintendo. I know that most of us here ended up taking the download route.

I heard that all first party games will be downloadable from here on out. Not sure about third party games. Guess that's up to the developer.

Yep Bermuda is correct, all first party titles will be available digitally at launch!

I'm fairly certain third parties has the same option as well.

Very cool! It'll be nice to have the download option.

Edit: And oh yeah, if that's true then why not make any of the games that are already available at retail downloadable in the eShop? Maybe they will eventually.

I'm not going to hold my breath for it, but that would be pretty nice! They should do it.

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
Ace Attorney 5 has been announced for the 3DS! Phoenix is the main character again, and someone from Capcom has confirmed that the game will be released in the US and Europe! Here are screens.

You can now download a free DLC pack for NSMB2 in honor of the game reaching a worldwide coin count of 300 billion.

With levles inspired by Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros., and Super Mario Bros. 3 the Gold Classics Pack will be available from now until February 1st, 2013.

Wow, that's really cool...I didn't expect Nintendo to make the game's DLC free at any point for some reason. Too bad I don't have a 3DS and the game.

Yeah it's a nice gesture.

I was a shocked though that the first DLC pack wasn't free. I thought it'd be nice if they used a free DLC pack to get people hooked. This is nice regardless though!

EDIT: Also, an article I read yesterday spoke of Mario Bros. inspired levels, however, I haven't found anything about it yet. Although the reference may be hidden. For example, the first level is basically 1-1, but if you go into the pipes into turns in 1-2 which I thought was really cool.

This DLC pack was great. If it wasn't free I would have totally paid for it.
