Starting Today, Portal 2 is $20 off at Gamestop (its $39.99, 35.99 for PC) So... If you haven't bought it yet this is a good time to jump on it.

Not a bad deal at all.

Its kind of hard for me to buy Valve games for that much though. I know a year from now Steam will have some crazy deal where they'll pay me to get Portal 2.

Today's sale is Mass Effect.

The first game is $5 while the second is $10($20 for special edition).

I think I may take advantage of this. . .

I highly recommend it myself. I'm not sure how far I am in ME1 but I love it so far. It's a steal for $5.

I just downloaded the demo for Mass Effect 2 and unfortunately it seems like it won't run on my computer.

I know at this point I"m a broken record, but it irks me since everything meets its standards except for the TYPE of card. Oh well I guess I should have done more video card research when purchasing my laptop.

What do you have, Intel? If so, Intel cards are NOT good for gaming. Fine for browsing the Internet and 2D gaming, not but 3D.

Yeah thats what I have. I just downloaded a driver for it and its running some of my other games more smoothly but still won't run Mass Effect.

That's a shame. Well, at the very least, the 360 version of ME1 is pretty cheap to get used on the internet. And for future reference, ATI/AMD or Nvidia are the ways to go if you want a card to play games with.

Well for the most part, the laptop I have does what I NEED, gaming was never a priority when it came to my laptop, just something extra that would be nice to have. For the most part it plays everything I want. But thanks I'll keep that in mind for the future.

If anything I"ll probably just get the second one on PS3 when its relatively cheap.
