I figured Generations would be a daily deal but at $10? I was expecting $15! I'm tempted by this but I'm not sure how it will like my processor. I'm tempted by Bulletstorm at $5 as well, though right now I'm really waiting to see if RE5 becomes a daily deal... |

Haha, I didn't even see this before getting you RE5. I take it that your computer did have enough blast-processing to keep up with Generations? :eggman: |

Unfortunately I got slowdown in places where I don't think I should've gotten slowdown. The only stage that ran near flawlessly was Green Hill, both modern and classic. I've been meaning to upgrade to a quad core CPU anyway, so I'm holding off on Generations until I've gotten one. (Hopefully by the end of February) |

I noticed Walmart.com has Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded for $9.96 (usual price is $17.96, and probably $19.99 in most places) Seems like a good deal. |

Not a bad deal. Re:Coded isn't a bad game, though to be quite honest I only recommend it for the most die hard of fans, or if you've never played KH1 before. The story is a retread and new title all at the same time. The gameplay is nice though! Not as complex as the PS2 versions, and slightly better(though not as diverse since there are 12 or so less characters) combat than the first DS title. I didn't know about that, or anything about Re: Coded really. A shame to hear it's a retread. If I didn't just get a bunch of games during the holiday season I think I might have gone for it. |

MOTOR GAMES ON CARDCYCLES

It's less diverse in the sense that you're limited to one character (Sora), but more diverse in the sense that you get a whole bunch more attacks thanks to the Deck Command system. I definitely think that this game's combat is much better than Days, even if it does have most of the same camera issues (blame the DS for that). As for the story, while the (rather few) worlds in it are all reused from KH1, they still deviate a bit from the other games (similarly to Chain of Memories), and each of them have their own little gameplay-changing gimmicks (Traverse Town has a sidescrolling platformer, Wonderland has a shmup, Olympus Coliseum has a turn-based RPG, etc). I can also probably disagree with first-time KH players being able to jump into the game. You really need to have played the others to understand most of the main plot (as in, the stuff that isn't the stories of the individual worlds). Spoiler: click to toggle

Good point about the levels changing up. I sure did love Mount Olympus. I disagree with the story part though. I do agree that to get 100% enjoyment and understanding out of the story playing the others is required, but if you deleted Coded from the Kingdom Hearts timeline there would be no impact what so ever on the Kingdom Hearts time line save for that secret ending, which wasn't even in the original Coded to begin with. I wouldn't recommend it being the starting point by any means, but if someone so chose it to be they wouldn't be as lost as say going into Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 without having seen any other Harry Potter movie due to the game's over all unnecessary plot (though that's most likely because it was a cellphone game that most likely never intended to leave Japan when it was first created). Indie Royale has a lightning bundle, for the next 100 hours (down to about 90 hours now) you can get the Serious Sam Bundle. I paid $5 for it. You get the SS Indie games and The First and Second Encounters Classic versions. http://www.indieroyale.com/ |

Gamestop has the standalone 3DS for $150 new, not sure how long this will last. I think everyone here has it except me, but I guess if you know someone who wants one, well, there you go! |
