Don't know nuthin' about this friend voucher business but I'll be playing the game as soon as I get my Wii fixed. :( May be a few days to a week or so. I gots to replace a cable which I'll have to find on eBay which I can't do at the moment because I might be in the middle of changing banks, so ... crap.

Agh, I'm near the end of the game of the first Prime and I now realized I forgot to scan the Flaahgra tentacle.

Is that all you're missing? I remember on my first time through, I missed those special War Wasps that you fought during the incinerator boss.

Project: Shadow, I think I need to talk to you about whatever's wrong with your Wii. Did you really have a cable go bad?

Bermuda, can't you just go back and scan the tentacle? I had the game on GameCube and played it but never beat it and now I'm only at Phelandria Drifts in it on the Trilogy so I'm not really sure. I think I've logged everything that I've encountered so far though.

No, you only have one chance to scan it. There are several scans like that.

So how do you switch beams anyway?

Yeah, the Flaahgra tentacle is part of a boss fight.

And to switch beams you press the + button and point at which beam you want. To select visors, you press the - button. I do sometimes get confused with this. I may think I'm trying to select the ice beam, then suddenly my heat vision visor kicks in.

I had the feeling. I was little wary about that for a second but I'd probably get used to it quickly like I did with visor switching in MP3.

Yeah, in readjusting the DVD drive clamp to fix the pressure it's putting on the disc causing bad noises and disc errors, somehow or another (not really sure how) one of the wires in the bundled wire cable that connects the drive to the motherboard (it's actually the power cable for the drive) got disconnected and there's pretty much no fixing that. It controls the drive's spinning function. So broke cable = no disc spinny. Luckily I've got one cheap on eBay. I did buy the game and checked out the awesome package and books (though I didn't read the story summaries in the art book cuz I didn't want to read spoilers ... for once). Very awesome, and yeah, save me some friend vouchers too. XD I should have the Wii up in running again in a week or so, depending on how fast the delivery of the cable is but it came from UK, soooo ... might be a while. :/

Beat Metroid Prime. 100% item completion, and scanned everything but that Flaahgra tentacle.

The good news is that you don't need Friend Vouchers to unlock the Fusion Suit. It's only 1 orange emblem and 2 silver emblems.
