Super Mario Collection

This trade mark just recently popped up from Nintendo:
商願2009-045427 スーパーマリオコレクション (Super Mario Collection)

Now of course, just because something is trade marked doesn't really mean anything is going to come from it, but I think this is pretty interesting, and I wonder what could be on it. Is it a re-release/remake of Super Mario All-Stars? Or perhaps a collection with some other games?

I would LOVE a DS game that was like Mario All Stars with all the Mario GBA titles on it. That would be a lot of content :) All they would need to add was a remake of Lost Levels in the same manner and they could make it worth the $30.

It would make sense since the DSi can't play the GBA titles. I imagine its the same mind set they had when they made Pokemon Gold and Silver remakes.

Interesting idea, it's possible that's what they're up to. Can't wait to hear more on this. It'd also make sense since Nintendo has been ignoring the DS a lot with first party support.

I wouldn't mind a collection of the console platformers on the Wii.

That is, SMB 1-4 (World), Lost Levels, Yoshi's Island, 64, and Sunshine. (If there isn't anything I'm missing)

I was actually thinking about that, enhanced Wiimake of Sunshine, with 64 thrown in for kicks. The other platform games would be awesome as well.

Though it just hit me that you'd need a Classic or GCN controller for the SNES games...

You COULD use the nunchuck, though it'd be no where near as comfortable.

I guess.

I'm not sure if I'd actually get a collection like that though since I already have all those games except for Sunshine.

I'd pick it up if they were remakes.

I stand by my statement of a DS collection of the Advance games, however an interesting theory I heard I would also like to see come true, A Kirby Super Star like collection featuring the Mario 1-World, and the first 3 Mario Lands.
