I have wanted to do a community blog for a while. So I figured since its almost November, we can start fresh. This thread will be a blog for all of us to post our experiences with certain genres or franchises. Started midnight November 1st, the first person to post a genre or a franchise will be what everyone will all play for the month of November. You don't have to finish the game, just play it. And share your experience on this thread. :p |

I'm still thinking. The first thing that came to mind though was the FPS genre and Half-Life. Half-Life was definitely one of those series that left an impression on me...or something. EDIT: And platformers and Mario too but that's too obvious. Edited by Quick Draw Dragon, Nov 1 2009, 12:12 AM.

I was gonna make a suggestion but I forgot and was gonna see if anyone else had any ideas so I guess its good you bring it back up :P. It is a good and interesting idea. I don't really wanna know what to suggest though. I want something fun and different, so I don't wanna be boring and pick something like Mario, or Sonic. Aw shucks, I'll be boring and pick the Resident Evil franchise(well boring for me, since its one of my favorites and I vocalize that alot XD). Points to those who saw it coming :P. Well with New Super Mario Bros coming out this month why not start with Mario? Classic Mario platforming is certainly something we can all relate to and enjoy |

I think we should do just one so we don't burn through stuff too fast. Since Dragon was first, this month will be Half-Life in any form on any platform. :p |
