Weekly Downloads

Adventure Island this week. Again, I never played the GB version. I still got to beat Metroid 2, so maybe I'll check this out after I'm done with that.

i can't bring myself to buying GB titles anymore. Its too much for too little. Even stuff like Mario Land 2 is too expensive for what 1-2 hours of gameplay they offer. I've gotten so many better games on my iPad for less money.

I'm actually slightly interested in that DSiware title. I don't think I'll get it this week, but maybe something down the line.

Weekly Download

I hear Japan got Wario Land this week, so I'm slightly disappointed that didn't show up. But I really want those Ambassador games. Australia's got the games already.

Japan got theirs as well.

Fingers crossed we'll get them tomorrow as well!

Also really can't wait for WL!

Well the ambassador games are great (except for not being able to suspend your game to visit the home menu), so I've got plenty to play, but no weekly update today? What's up with that? Maybe it's just late...

Hmm, quite odd indeed. Perhaps you are right and things are just running a tad late?

Usually they're pretty prompt with these updates and rarely do I remember them ever being late (on hardware updates naturally, but never store related stuff).

EDIT: Or maybe not. . .

Tetris for VC and Mighty Switch Force! I really want MSF, hopefully I can get that sometime after the holiday. Tetris I can live without, I have some nostalgia for that particular version but not enough to buy it...or maybe I will, who knows? Right now I'm neutral.

DOUBLE EDIT:

Apparently SwapNote is available as well.

Kind of odd they didn't mention Swapnote. That's kind of the big download this week. Now we're able to send messages to people on our friends list. I wish this feature was integrated into the friends list instead of being a separate app. It's free so go download.

As for the games, MSF is one I will probably buy eventually. I want to go through these GBA games before I start buying other things.

Ah, that's more like it. At lunch time today my 3DS auto updated but there was nothing new in the eShop. Now I see that this update must've been a SwapNote precursor. I'll check it out when I get home, but it does sound disappointing that it isn't simply and added feature to the friend's list.

VVVVVV and Bionic Commando are the big hits this week

I still haven't beaten VVVVVV on PC yet, not sure if I want to plop down $8 for it right now though. Think I'll hold off.
