Anyone try out the monster hunter 3 demo? I'm getting the Wii U version for some online play. I've been playing the demo to get back into the groove of things. I used to be a sword and shield guys, but I think I'm going dual swords with this game. I like those quick attacks. Still need to practice with them. If anyone else is planning on getting the game, I'll be playing a lot of online with this one.

Yeah, tried out the demo as the double swords person as well, I think I might stick with that too.

I really want the game, but I'm not sure if I'm going to get it this month. It's definitely on my list though.

Now I haven't played the game, so I'm wondering what part warrants an M rating. I hear there is some censoring in the US version, however.

I honestly have no idea what it could really be!

Although like you said, the US version is slightly censored. Like Ness is nude at one point, but since it's an SNES game there's barely any detail. . .

Although it has been ten years or more since I played the game, so I could have missed/can't remember something :P.

The closest to anything sexual I can think of is that one NPC in Fourside(?) that tells you to stop staring at her hips.

Shantae drops today, also there's a lot of talk (NOA's earthbound page lists it for today among other things) that Earthbound is also coming out. But that's unconfirmed.

Nintendo uploaded this Earthbound launch trailer 4 minutes ago as of this posting!

EDIT: It launched!

It's $9.99 and comes with the guide it came with in the physical release.

It's really cool that they included the guide. I'd gladly pay $10 for this...you know, whenever I get a Wii U.
