lenty to get excited about this week on the North American PlayStation Store, including the release of adhocParty, Peggle (with Peggle Nights!) and Assassin's Creed for the PSP.

PSP owners with a hunger for playing people over the internet via their PlayStation 3's should grab the adhocParty app, then show your interest in seeing more games support the feature. And if you've got six bucks left in your wallet, a download of Resident Evil 2, one of two new PSone Classics, might be an amusing trip down memory lane.

Nice update this week, RE 2, and AdHoc party. Ad hoc party allows you to play Local Wifi psp games over the internet. I think you can use it for DS games too, but I am not sure.

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
Shoot I'd get RE2 for just $6. I'd get Peggle but I think I'd prefer playing that on PC.

Does this adHoc party require a PS3? Being able to play local multiplayer games online sounds great, especially if it somehow did work with the DS!

I'm pretty sure you need a PS3 for adhoc to work.

Also RE2 is a very nice addition, and about time >_>, its been out in Japan since December 2007. . .but then again Japan actually gets good games often. Soul Reaver is actually a very good game as well. I never beat it when I owned it(I don't actually know what happened to it) but it was pretty cool.

If you've done the latest PSP firmware update you now have access to the PSP comic viewer(though the service doesn't officially begin till December). However thats not stopping Sony and IDW Publishing from giving out some free comics to score~

EC2N-9HBR-HJD6 (Transformers: All Hail Megatron #1)
724K-A4BG-JLD7 (Star Trek Year Four: The Enterprise Experiment)
FF3N-H7B6-M2JF (Astro Boy Movie Adaptation #1)

That sounds neat, thanks. I'll have to update my PSP and check this out.

Apparently the comic book reader you have to download is over 1 GB in space, so since I only have a 1 GB memory card I won't be able to view the comics I downloaded xD. And I don't really see the need, nor the urge to go out and buy larger memory since I play my PSP like once a year and don't really download anything on it.

EDIT: HAHAHAHA Sorry gang, a classic moment of poor reading comprehension. The file is over 1000 KBs NOT MBs, sorry xD>

No problem. It sounds like you use your PSP about as often as I use mine XD

Among the updates this week was Resident Evil 3: Nemesis to the PSOne classics. My Dreamcast copy is no longer in working condition, so I may actually consider downloading it, and downloading it soon.
