I beat Mario Galaxy 2 with 105 stars. It's close, but I'll definitely say I like this game better than the first. It is very close though.

Beat galaxy 2 today as well. I had collected every star I possibly could up to that point and got all the comet coins(save for the one in Bowser's final castle), haven't started the new levels yet though.

Also congrats on beating Bioshock metroid, thats one game I've been interested in playing but never got around to it.

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
Beat MGS2.

Overall, it didn't hold a candle to the first game, but still pretty good. I didn't think the pacing was as good as the first one. I mean, from what I remember, in MGS you got a decent amount of gameplay in between cut-scenes. In MGS2 it seemed like you only got 5-10 minutes of gameplay before you got a cut-scene. (Mostly in the early parts anyway) Tell me if I'm wrong though, I might just be remembering incorrectly.

I was neutral with Raiden. I almost wanted to dislike him initially. "WHO'S THIS PRETTY BOY, YOU'RE NOT SNAKE!!!" But I'm okay with him. Rose got on my nerves though, or at least her and Raiden's relationship anyway. I missed Mei Ling's quoting of literature.

I really liked the last parts of the game though. (by last parts, I mean starting with nude Raiden) Lots of crazy revelations! I really liked Raiden's conversation with

Gave me the same feeling that this cut-scene did...(Spoiler for HL2 Episode Two)

I also totally loved Snake's and Otacon's bro grab.

Time to play Snake Tales.

I completed Super Mario Galaxy 2 yesterday. Can't believe that the game managed to hold around 30 hours of challenges for me, but that's definitely not a bad thing in my book. :P

Congrats! I still have quite a few stars left, but I gave my friend's Wii back and I should be shipping my still broken one out in a few weeks.

Aww, are you sending yours to Nintendo? I'm thinking that's what I'm going to have to do, but it'll really suck to lose all my save data (and Miis, etc). I couldn't play SMG2 until this week: I borrowed my sister's Wii so that I can play it and the game is amazing!

When my Wii broke down, I sent it in to Nintendo and it was a pretty good experience. I got it back within a week, and none of my save data was erased or anything. I think if they need to replace the Wii completely, they will transfer all your data over.
