I beat GoldenEye tonight. The final level gets insanely difficult and I lost count how many times I died. I was playing on 007 mode. Well I really loved the game. I've only played single-player and haven't tried online yet. After hearing about all these hackers, I'm not really looking forward to it. Maybe some friends only matches may be the way to go. Anyone else have this game or plan on getting it? |

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.

Maybe. It really depends on if I get a job soon or not. (I'm not counting on getting it as a Christmas gift) It doesn't help that I'm interesting in Black Ops as well. |

Pretty sure I just "Beat" Sonic and the Black Knight, just beat The Dark Queen. I know I unlocked a few missions after this, but is there really anything noteworth to do end-game? Especially for someone who found the game to be mediocre overall(story aside) and didn't think the boss battles were all that good(except King Arthur Round 2 despite its many flaws)? |

Nope, sounds like you finished the main game. All that's left to do is complete the rest of the missions and go for the medals, collect all the treasures and forge all the weapons, and complete the gallery. If you didn't enjoy the main game that much, you would probably enjoy all that even less. I beat Batman Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition on Steam. I loved it and I'm not even all that into Batman (or any DC or Marvel super hero, but Batman is probably the one that interests me the most). There's very little I can think of to make a better Batman experience. This game was done right. That's the best way to put it. After beating it my percentage complete is 73% and I'm all for solving the rest of the riddles left by the Riddler, tackling all the trials of Challenge Mode, and getting as many achievements unlocked as I can. I don't remember if I mentioned this or not, but I had to create a Windows Live account to play the game. Thus, I can now link to all of you Xbox 360 playing people for what it's worth. So far I've just friended Gamma. If anybody else cares to link to my account, the name (or gamer tag or whatever it's called) is Adrik the Bat. |

My opinion on Sonic and the Black Knight is very odd, at times I'll feel it was an alright game, while at other times I think poorly of it. There were parts of it I enjoyed, but then there were parts of it I hated. In the end, I'm glad I bought it, I"m glad I beat it, but I think thats just all there is to it for me. I'll probably take a stab at some of the bonus stuff in a week or two, give me some time off from the game. As for Batman, I haven't played it yet beyond the demo, but that steam deal was mighty tempting and was considering getting it as well. Glad you enjoyed it, I might get it sometime soon for PS3 so I can play as the Joker. I'm never on XBL anymore, but I'll add you sometime soon anyhow for kicks. |

I just beat Sonic Colors. I have to say that was probably my favorite final boss fight in a Sonic game. The whole game was really fun. It's definitely the best 3D Sonic in a long time. I don't think I enjoyed a Sonic game this much since the Sonic Adventure games, and I'd say this one's even better. A lot of reviews I've heard about this game complain about the difficulty, and I say there is nothing wrong with that. Yes the game gets progressively more challenging in later stages, but that's what games are supposed to do. I did die a lot, but never enough to get frustrated and I never felt like I died due to the game throwing some cheap shots or poor level designs or anything like that. In fact, I really like the level designs in this game. They offer a lot more platforming than previous Sonic titles and you will have to take your time and not rush through in some spots. |

I beat it yesterday (or maybe the night before, I forget). Yeah, I really don't get people complaining about the difficulty because most Sonic games have either been too easy or ridiculously, frustratingly hard in a bad way at some parts (Sonic and the Secret Rings and what I've played of Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 and Unleashed 360). I somewhat agree where I've read people say most of the recent Sonic games have simply been a matter of holding forward with the occasional button press. They've had so many areas of automatic action that we forget how much non-linear platforming there was to the old games. This game does a good job of reminding us of that. I don't mind saying I saw that game over screen (which could stand to be more interesting, but whatever) a lot due to being careless and used to just going forward without expecting a lot to be in my way. You could say this game borrows a lot from Super Mario Galaxy, but it never feels like it's completely ripping it off. Everything's executed well in Sonic style. It's also worth noting that the sidescrolling areas may make up more than half the game. I played through the game with the Nunchuk control style, but it supports every option that Super Smash Bros. Brawl does. I'm starting to try out the others. The Wii remote NES style works great for the sidescrolling areas, of course. Anyway, I'm working on collecting all of the Red Rings and trying for some S Ranks. If there's a really useful (includes maps and in-depth strategies and stuff) player's guide for this game I may get it, and it would be the first player's guide I actually bothered to get for actually helping me with the game (rather than just looking at artwork) since ... Animal Crossing: Wild World I think? The last Sonic player's guide I got was for Shadow the Hedgehog, and before that Sonic Adventure 2 for Dreamcast. Some of those Red Rings are pretty hard to find and I don't really feel like reading text walkthroughs for something like this. |
