I beat NMH2 today. I played nonstop basically from about 10am to 2am. Took a few breaks for dinner and such. I thought this game was much easier than the first. I remember dying repeatedly on many of the bosses. Shinobu and Bad Girl come to mind as some of the tougher battles for me. I remember in the first game I had to memorize the bosses moves and formulate a strategy on each fight. In NMH2, I pretty much used the same strategy for each boss. The Wii remote shake attack is really powerful in this game. I used that quite a bit on enemies. And I think the bosses have less HP in NMH2 than in the first game. Many of these bosses went down fairly quickly. I played on Mild difficulty, which is the games normal mode. I unlocked Bitter so maybe I'll try that next.

Just beat No More Heroes 2. It was a pretty good game over all, though I have a few problems(only minor ones):

And as I'm watching the credits I see Takashi Miike provided his voice as a guest star(I think I know who he may have played). For those who don't know Takashi Miike is a Japanese film maker responsible for horror movies like Ichi the Killer and Audition(wouldn't be surprised if these, especially Ichi were inspiration for NMH) and the Yatterman live action movie(as well as many more films, but these are some of his most popular, especially in America).

As mentioned in the goals thread I beat DK King of Swing, and it was quite hard (seriously, a couple stages in particular took hours of trying >_< ). So for the month I beat 7 games and completed 4. Not too shabby ^_^

Man, January was a strong month for me. Nine games. That's better than any month I had last year. And many of these were pretty big games. Don't know if I'll be able to keep up that momentum throughout the year but I'll try.
