I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
My router and consoles are pretty close to each other so getting a 360 online won't be a problem as long as I can get an ethernet cable that's long enough. It's a huge ripoff to have to pay $100 for a wireless adapter though. That always baffled me.

Me too, I had my game consoles next to my router before so it wasn't a problem, but since I just moved into a new apartment it is now a problem. I can run a cable from one room to the other, but that's a hassle. And the worst part about the ridiculous price is the original $100 network adapter didn't even work well (I assume the new one works better).

Indeed, the router debacle with the 360 makes me angry. If it wasn't as expensive, it wouldn't be so bad.

I guess I'd prefer a wired connection anyway. Still a ripoff that you have to pay that much to get what the Wii and PS3 have built in.

I'm still undecided, but the only thing still driving me away from the 360 is that you have to pay for online play. And apparently you still get ads on your dashboard. But I guess I'm still going for the 360. What pushed me is that multiplatform games are better on there. Fallout 3 for example is pretty buggy on PS3.

I've decided that I'm definitely going for the 360. I plan on getting this bundle and a 120 GB HDD separately. Hopefully the bundle will still be available by the time I get enough money. And if MS announces a slim console, maybe the price will go down too...

Sounds like a sweet deal.

I enjoy the other two Banjo Kazooies much more but Nuts and Bolts is still a fine game none-the-less. It was my first 360 game too and I enjoyed it.

I also have half a notion to rant about the hard drive prices and situation(its so much better on the pS3, and heck even Wii to an extent a small extent) but I think it'd be redundant at this point.

I'm more annoyed that the 360 doesn't have built in Wi-Fi, and charges $100 for an add-on that allows it! (And having to pay for online play...)

I can get a new 120 GB HD for $75 on Amazon so I'll save money at least. Is there any reason not to get a used HD though, as long as it's in good condition? If so, I'll save even more and get a used one.

As far as the hard drive is concerned I don't think you have a reason to worry about buying it used.

But I'm not 100% so if anyone knows otherwise please chime in.

What do you think...should I get an Arcade unit right away, or should I wait until the $200 slim model is released in the Fall? I've started considering doing that...
