I just bought all the Bit.Trip games, and they are not the kind of games to play when sleep deprived. I think my favorite is Runner. That one's just a lot of fun.

I'm thinking maybe I should have gotten these games when they first were released. Then I would have gotten more time on with each one. The way it is now, Runner to me is far superior to all of them, so I'm putting more time into that one. Bit.Trip Beat is probably my next favorite followed by Core then Void.

And I guess I could talk a bit about 3D Dot Game Heroes here. There's been a lot of discussion about whether this game is an homage to the classic Zelda, or just a complete-rip-off. I'm leaning towards the latter. It's not a bad thing really. It's a good rip-off at least. Although, I kind of wish it wasn't 3D. It would have been cool if it was a 2D classic 8-bit adventure.

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
Spent the morning playing Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu and Double Dragon II on an NES emulator for the Homebrew Channel. I'm going to try to beat them this month.

I recommend both if you're looking for some great 8-bit action.

I'm going to have a hard time finding something to play for this if I can't get my Wii fixed before the end of the month. Maybe I'll DL Dark Void Zero on DSi if I decide to actually get some Nintendo points on it.
