The 3DS screenshots DO look graphically superior to Wii games! Awesome! Update: Nintendo's E3 show won't load for me on their E3 site, guess I'll catch it later. So what's the news on Sony's? Edited by CHAOSGAMMA, Jun 15 2010, 04:38 PM.

To be quite honest, I found Sony and Micro's conference to be quite boring, Sony's being a tad more interesting. Sony showed some of its Move games, such as a Sorcery game where you perform magic spells with a wand to defeat enemies, a cross over action/platforming game featuring Sly, Jak, and Ratchet characters. Some Final Fantasy XIV(unfortunately no Versus XIII) and then a montage of PSP games. And some mini games from LBP2. |

For me this year, the best showing was the 3DS by far. They announced quite a lot more games than I was expecting, and some pretty big titles as well. A new Paper Mario, Animal Crossing, Kingdom Hearts and Resident Evil is enough for me to get excited. I was planning on getting one anyway, but I was blown away with what was announced. One other thing I noticed about all these motion controls. If you want to play all three motion controlled systems, you'll have like three sensor bars all cluttered around your TV. I don't know if I'd have room for a Kinect and Eye Toy as well as the Wii sensor bar. Edited by Super Bermuda, Jun 15 2010, 04:56 PM.

Indeed, the amount of games announced is amazing! The 3DS is off to a great start, even though they won't all be out at launch most of them should follow soon. Luckily now people are experienced in both touch screen controls and the type of games it will play(i'd say about gamecube-ish caliber) so the only challenge now will only be the 3D< and that shouldn't be hard at all. And yeah, first it was Wii accessories taking up space, now its other motion controllers too! |

It doesn't look superior to Wii. More on level with the PSP. (Maybe PS2) Those people (IGN I think?) saying that it was comparable to 360/PS3 a few days ago were full of it. But yeah this was Nintendo's best since 2006. Like I said, it makes me wish I had saved up for a PS3 during Nintendo's dowtime the past year or so. The most interesting things to me were: 3DS in general Zelda Bulletstorm Heroes on the Move Sly Collection (I don't know if I'll actually get it, but I plan on following it) Kirby (A lot better looking than the old screenshots from when it was still a GCN game) Donkey Kong Country Returns (A dream come true) As for the others, this was MS's worst year, hands down. Sony's was alright. EDIT: More MGS screens Edited by Brewmaster Dragon, Jun 15 2010, 05:56 PM.

The rumors weren't necessarily that it LOOKED like 360/PS3 but that it had processing power similar to it, which would be understandable at the time considering that its not easy to process a 3D image easily, especially one that looks nice graphically. But yeah, Microsoft's was just bad, Sony didn't bring anything to the table to throw me over the edge and buy a PS3, but I still plan on picking one up, shame the price drop didn't come true. |

Well, the 360 has a tri-core processor. Something like that seems like a lot for a handheld system. Guess we'll just have to wait until the specs come out. And yeah, too bad the PS3 didn't get a price drop. Looks like I'll be waiting until the holidays to get one unless a miracle occurs. Though, it hasn't even been a year since it went to $300... Also, the Nintendo-related trailers are on the Nintendo Channel now. (In high quality!) |

I like the Chain Chomp partner. That game is looking grand, really glad its not a remake/port of PM 64. |
