Its really not that impressive. A gamecube disc had only about 1.4 gig of space on it. DS cards are basically SD cards. A 2 gig card is what? $10 retail? The manufacturing cost is probably a couple dollars. |

Gameplay of Kirby: Epic Yarn Man I liked the game from the trailer, but now I like it even more! I can't wait for it this fall! :D I wonder, when Nintendo will announce their fall/holiday schedule..... :D |

What I meant is, its not the memory size that excites me per se(though believe me, 2GB is a HUGE improvement over DS cards), its the fact that these games that could be run on the gamecube are now being run on a handheld and they'll run better now that there will be little to no load times thanks to them being on cards. Its like the excitement of the GBC being a portable NES, GBA being a portable SNES, DS being a portable 64, and now the 3DS is like a portable Gamecube, perhaps even more so. And a nice reference for games running better on cards/cartridges, play Final Fantasy VI on SNES and then play it on Playstation 1, its almost painful due to load times thanks to it being on a disc(though to be fair that is also due to shoddy programming so its not the perfect reference) Edited by Hyper Metal Sonic, Jun 19 2010, 07:15 PM.

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.

A huge improvement over UMDs too. Those held up to 1.8 GB and had load times. I still say, from what we've seen so far, 3DS is on par with the PS2. (As opposed to the GCN) Kid Icarus, at least, looks very much like a PSP game. MGS3 though, does look on par with at least the PS2. Oh, and there will be a $200 360 slim in the fall. Know E3 is over and all but since we discussed it here I thought I'd just post this here. Resident Evil Revelations trailers: http://japan.gamespot.com/videos/story/0,3800076101,20415519,00.htm looking mighty fine if you ask me, even though its just cinematics. |

That looks good to me. It looks like there were some scenes of the boat from RE5 and the mansion from Lost in Nightmares. I wonder if this is taking place after RE5? And who was that guy tied up in the chair? At first I thought it was Chris, but then at the end it was someone else. |

Curious to find out who it is, and I'm very happy to see zombies in the trailer, wonder if there will be a mix? Or just zombies. |
