I'll be in the chat room if anyone wants to discuss. I think this could be the worst of the three. :$ |

Well usually when one new model comes out the older becomes cheaper. I hope the new stuff they get becomes cheaper for us. Especially something as essential to some people as WiFI. Also I thought the show was pretty boring too, i'm sure hxc shooting fans were pleased with the first half and then tuned out the second half with Kinect. I feel bad for Rare, I heard they were the ones developing Kinect Sports. How the mighty have fallen. At least with Nintendo they weren't lapdogs doing the dirty work. I'm an FPS fan, and I honestly wish they'd stop making 500 of them a year. Black Ops looked kinda cool. In case you missed the size comparison. Posted Image Edited by Brewmaster Dragon, Jun 14 2010, 02:17 PM.

The only reason you don't have a problem with it is because your in the market for a new system. If you were like me who is on their SECOND Xbox you would be rather upset new buyers get to save $100 on the wifi adapter thats grossly overpriced to begin with. If you bought an Xbox last month you would be out in the cold too. I wouldn't have any issue if they made the wifi adapter cheaper. Even cutting the price in half would be acceptable. The other companies never added a feature that was $100 to get separately. With the Ps3 models it was merely a larger HDD and some device removals. (like USB ports) But the HDD I can upgrade myself and time I please. With the GBA they completely overhauled the unit, and gave useful features at an affordable price. And in the case of the SP you actually SAVED money in the long run thanks to the rechargeable battery pack. The DS remodels added luxuries like the camera, and storage to the unit. Things that won't make it easier to use all the features of the original intention of the device. |

You're right about the 360, but I went through the same thing with the DS. Less than a year after I got my Phat, Nintendo announced the Lite. It sucked, but whatever. I totally expect companies to do that sort of thing. I know the risks of getting a system too early. EDIT: And I was only able to get an SP because my old GBA broke. |

Yeah but at least the SP had the battery pack. Instead of AA. You probably made you money back on it in saving of batteries. All I want is my Xbox on Wifi. Every other major electronics device has it, why should the Xbox require an additional $100? |

Yeah I hate that you're basically forced to buy their overpriced HDDs and adapters. That's why I've been leaning toward the PS3 again. Well, at least now they're fixing the adapter problem, but I agree that it shouldn't have been separate in the first place. EDIT: Good point HMS, the adapters probably will go down in price. Perhaps the price will go down now, maybe they didn't feel it was news worthy at the time to make a "Big" announcement for it. |

I really hope it does go down. Anyway, yeah that was really boring. The star wars game looks like it's got a lot of potential but boring... |

I'm hearing that the Arcade unit will be lowered to $150. Has anyone else heard that or have confirmation? Also, EA's presser starts in half an hour. |
