Have you gotten the boat yet? Also in a place called Bad Cave is another good metal slime place to train. I'm currently heading for the desert. |

Yeah, when I posted that was when I just got the boat. I sailed around and found the desert. So I defeated that area and am now off to explore more of the world. And Bad Cave does have the metal slime stacks, but they don't seem to be as common. Maybe it's just me. I hope to come across some liquid metal slimes or king metal slimes soon. |

I found about 3 or 4 while I was there, and about 3 slimes in the other place, so I guess it just depends on luck. I'm thinking about going to the Bad Cave to do some grinding, cause at least if I can't find the metal there's at least enemies that'll give me some what decent EXP. I'm just at the desert town, probably going to grind for some gold so I can get more armor and what have ya. |

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.

I could almost never beat Metal Slimes in DQVIII. I've beaten a bunch of them in DQV though. |

That's still pretty good. They should have given you, what, at least 1000 EXP each? |

There are some ways that will help make killing metal slimes easier. A swordsman's metal slash technique was made for this. Also, it's best to use attack that strike multiple times. There's a claw attack my monk uses that hits four times which, if I'm lucky, may kill metal slimes in one go. |

Yeah I've been using metal slash. Geographically I forget, where is the ruins that house the metal slimes again? Is it near Stornway? |

The regular metal slimes are near Coffinwell. Just head west then north to find the Quarantomb. |
