Arkham Asylum is just awesome; it's great that you guys got it. I'm still wanting to get Kirby, it sounds so great whenever I hear about it.

The last game I've been playing is Jet Rocket, which is an impressive WiiWare game that I'm having fun going through.
I'd really like to get Jet Rocket eventually.

Also recently I purchased Phoenix Wright on my iPod Touch, so this is my first foray into the series, and I'm really enjoying it so far! I had always wanted to get into the series, but for some reason never did, even when it hit Wiiware. I guess the $0.99 price tag is to thank! I'm really enjoying all the various lawyerings in the game and hope to have it beat soon. Hopefully in the next few months I can check out some of the sequels on the Wii(since I assume they're still cheaper than the DS versions)

Finally got back to Golden Sun. Now that I'm out of the beginning town the game's getting more interesting. It's really wordy but I don't mind it. I just finished dealing with the situation in Vault.

I've been enjoying BioShock 2 so far. I saw this as an unnecessary sequel at first...and well, it is, but a good one. It feels like the BioShock equivalent of Half-Life: Opposing Force. I feel really vulnerable though, I lose health a lot faster than a Big Daddy should! Still, I feel like a formidable force with this huge drill. Much better than the wrench. But where does the drill go when you pull out a gun?

Story stuff

I also tried the DirectX 10 textures but didn't see a difference.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and hacking is much better now. I did like the hacking minigame in the first game, but it got old after a while, to the point where I didn't bother hacking things that weren't turrets or cameras, and even then I'd just buy them out if I could afford it.

I liked the story and characters better in the first game, but Bioshock 2 was still a good sequel. I am looking forward to Bioshock Infinite.

I am seriously loving this drill. I basically never used the wrench in the first game (even after getting that tonic that lets it freeze things) so I was disappointed whenever I found tonics for it. This time I'm looking forward to getting all the drill power ups.

And I guess the vulnerability is making me use my Plasmids more. I've been stunning everyone with the electric one before I engage them, which I stopped doing often not long after starting the first game.

Ah yes Mark Meltzer! I followed his story on the ARG they did to promote the game! He found Rapture almost on accident when he commissioned a ship to search the area he was told Rapture was in.

When he got near the light house, Lamb sent splicers to the ship assuming more of the US navy were looking for Rapture. During the fight on the ship he was able to kill a spider splicer and seal its bathysphere and sneak into Rapture. I searched high and low in the game to find all his Diaries! I suggest you do the same, even though his story ends rather anti-climatically.

Tenenbaum got to Rapture with the help of Charles M. Porter, a man who was still in Rapture when Lamb took over. You meet him during the DLC mission "Minerva's Den" (which IMO had the best story of all!) The DLC explains more about Adam, and how Tenenbaum cured the adam addiction.

Edit- and Yes the drill is awesome! I used it the entire game more then any other weapon!

This drill rush attack is so satisfying to use! Not only that but I got increased melee damage from researching the Brute Splicer. This game really wants me to use the drill.

I've been enjoying this more than I thought I would. I see why people were saying that BS2 has the better gameplay of the two. It feels like BS1 with the fat trimmed off. I'm currently in Siren Alley.

The games from Gamestop came in, but SMB2 doesn't work. It has a small but deep scratch (maybe more like a crack actually) that I didn't notice until after I tried playing it and got the usual disc read error GCN games get. I'm gonna have to make a trip to GS tomorrow, yay.

Jak has some good scratches on it too but not as bad and seems to work so far. The disc drive was being loud on the title screen but quieted down once the gameplay started. Ratchet and Clank 2 has some marks on it but not as bad as either of the last two and it seems to work going by the minute I spent testing it. Tekken is in the best condition and even came with the instructions.
