That was sudden. Seems kind of fishy to be honest. This, however, gives me hope

Though I guess I'm the only one here who used it...

Yeah I never used this a day in my life and didn't really see myself doing so any time soon. Its still kind of sad to hear though, it seemed like a good service, just nothing that interested me(except Duke Nukem I guess).

Hope it is just a stunt.

There weren't that many games that interested me, and I already owned most of the ones that did. (Except for Earthworm Jim 1 + 2, I still wanted that) It mostly just stinks to see a good site go. DRM-free, extra downloadable content for games (like the music, wallpapers and manuals), and they actually made sure games would run on modern systems. (Most of the time anyway) Plus it just looked nice. I love Steam obviously, but in terms of site design, GOG trounced Steam. Plus I was hoping they'd get Thief 1 and System Shock 2.

I really hope it's just a stunt and they come back next week out of beta.

Wonder if that'll affect their business at all :P. I'll have to check out the site n ow, see whats different(if anything at all. . .)

EDIT: Ah nothing yet. Well they at least have me intrigued to re-check the site when its changed, even though I'm not a customer. Touche GOG, touche.

The only game confirmed for the relaunch so far is Baldur's Gate.
