Oh yeah, I didn't notice the Games on Demand and PSN logos for RE4 and CV. Well I haven't played CV, would it be worth getting for a casual RE player like me? (RE4 is still the only game I actually own, and the farthest I ever got in RE1 was the second area outside the mansion and and I never made it out of the police station in RE2.)
Well if you never got farther than that due to you getting bored, then no I wouldn't recommend it(as much as that pains me to say).

However, if you did find the gameplay enjoyable you just never bothered going any farther than that(kinda like me and Half-Life y'know), then yes I think its worth checking out. Mechanically and production value wise its not as top notch as REmake, but its probably the best old school Resident Evil in my humble opinion. It at least ties for my favorite with RE2.

I enjoyed what I played of RE1 and 2, it's just that I get distracted easily (especially from ROMs/ISOs, EarthBound and Mother 3 are the only ROMs I've ever finished), then I have trouble getting back to them because I forgot what I was doing. Or other things, like losing my RE1 progress due to a PC breaking and not being able to access the HD. I'm pretty sure I've started RE1 maybe 3 or 4 times and SOMETHING happens before I beat it. I don't have much excuse now though, I should probably get back to it soon. I honestly don't remember why I stopped RE2 before.

Hey, you guys think we should change this thread to Resident Evil 15th Anniversay Discussion? Since so much is going on this year and what not.

And I'm not big on those tactical team work shooters so Raccoon City probably won't appeal to me in an "amazing" way, but it sure sounds fun and cool.

I'm also glad Mercs was pushed from July 5th to June 28th, sure thats only a week, but its still nice!

Yeah you're right, it's about time we change the thread title.

I've never played a tactical shooter like SOCOM or anything, but I'm still interested in Raccoon City.

A really nice RE box set for Japan. I wonder if we'll get that?

It's only being released through their online store? I wonder if we'll be getting this at all then? You know I would buy this if it were ever released.
