Just beat Donkey Kong Country Returns! Game was very challenging, but very fun as well. The barrel rocket levels suck though I hate them very much xD.

I know the barrel rocket levels get a lot of hatred from what I have read on other forums. I thought they were ok, but yeah, they're not the best.

I just beat Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded. I really liked the game, even if it was just revisiting the same levels from the first game again. That's my biggest complaint with the KH series. I don't want to go to Agrabah ever again.

How long did it take you by chance? I'm about 3 hours in and just got to the Colosseum. But yeah, I totally agree, we need to stop revisiting places. Unless there is actually a reason. I understand this is merely a remake of a cell phone game, so naturally it wasn't going to tell the most riveting and franchise furthering story, but still. There's no KH2 levels either are there?

I finally, after many failed attempts, beat Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. I have to say it may be my favorite game in the series now. The way the characters classes are set up, the areas where you can level grind your characters (only FE game that gives you that option), the characters themselves and their interesting conversations, the after game content, there's just a lot that they did right with this one. I hope they try this format again some day (or make a sequel). I had several really great and well trained characters (didn't get anyone to promoted level 20, but Lute came close).

My best characters that I recommend anyone to use if they want to attempt to beat the game are Ephraim (Eirika's good, but lacking in strength, though you should definitely use both of them), Seth (though don't use him until later when other characters are promoted as you don't want him hogging all the experience), Ross (one of the very best, I made him a Beserker, he beat the final boss), Neimi (best Archer I've ever used, make her a Ranger because ballistae are not very common), Colm (best Thief I've ever used, make him a Rogue and never worry about lockpicks or keys), Lute (also one of the very best, make her a Sage and she'll be an army unto herself), Natasha (best healer, make her a Valkyrie and she makes great support), Cormag (pretty good, though not among my very best characters), Amelia (I made her a Paladin, though the other choices would probably do fine too), Marisa (also one the very best, female Swordmasters tend to be some of the best characters in every Fire Emblem), Ewan (really good if you take the time to train him since he joins late as a level 1 Pupil, I made him a Druid), and Tana (either Falcoknight or Wyvern Knight is great and she ends up being one of the very best characters too). So my elite I would say were Lute, Ross, Neimi, Marisa, and Tana. Now the only Fire Emblem game I still have to conquer (aside from Radiant Dawn which I don't have) is the original (US) one with Lyn, Eliwood, and Hector.

I clocked in at just under 19 hours. I was taking time to revisit previous levels to level up and everything. Colosseum I believe is the halfway point. I liked that level since it did offer some new level design, unlike other areas. And no KH2 levels.

Is Sacred Stones for DS?

Also congrats on beating it finally! Its always good to go back to a game and accomplish it after so many tries. That' happens to me a lot for RPGs. I think I'm ready for a boss, BOOM, i'm not. Might not play for a while but then I'll go back to it, have an 80s training montage and kick his butt.

Also, I'm on a roll this week! I'm taking full advantage of my week off from school and today I beat Splatterhouse for PS3!

And bermuda that's good to hear about the length. I'm quite enjoying it so far. I just beat Hollow Bastion.

Finally beat Max Payne. A great, if frustrating, game.
