Well, the trailer looked really good, but that may not mean anything about what the game will actually look like. |

Well it looks pretty cool, but I'd be more excited if it was being released for Wii and I don't see a PC release as being very likely. Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic in the same game? I guess this might be one "gimmick" those Sonic "purists" approve of, as long as they get the game mechanics right. I remember wanting them to remake Sonic 3 & Knuckles in 3D back when I first played the extra Green Hill stage on Sonic Adventure 2. I never thought they'd do something like this. You gotta give them credit for listening to fans. They're still stuck on the only Sonic deal, though. Honestly, who hated playing as Tails and Knuckles in the classic games? I enjoyed playing as them more than Sonic. I wish they hadn't gone to one extreme to the other. |

Yeah...I don't mind having more than one character playable. The problem is the way Sega handled it in the earlier 3D games. I guess the treasure hunting and shooting stages in the Adventure games left a sour taste in people's mouths, (I know I wasn't a fan of treasure hunting at least) not to mention Shadow's game being awful. Modern Sonic fans are really whiny and hard to please anyway. I understand they had a bad streak for a while but geez, there's seriously no pleasing them anymore. |

I agree, Sonic (IMO) should boil down to Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Metal Sonic and the good doctor. Other characters for story and plot points but these 5 should be the main cast. Also I want to point out, The "jump" sound for classic Sonic was from Sonic CD... I got rather excited watching the video. I was thinking the themes for the stages I want to see. Green Hill Chemical Planet Hydrocity Emerald Coast City Escape Final Fortress and Crisis City |

My interest is certainly peaked. Like always, I'll definitely pick this one up at release most likely, probably. I am excited to be playing as classic Sonic. |

That's pretty good to hear. I think I'll either go with the 3DS or PS3 version, perhaps both if they play different. |
