Netflix Adding Games

Netflix is dividing its two movie watching options even more. Now they're no longer just options, they're completely different companies now.

Netflix is making its DVD by mail service into "Qwikster"* and for an extra fee will soon be offering Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii games for rent as well.

If the fee isn't too much more, this could be pretty cool! Hopefully it doesn't suffer from the same flaws Gamefly has/had.

*And for those interested, streaming will retain the name of Netflix.

Depending on pricing, I may just renew my Netflix account. Or I guess I'd be getting a Qwikster account. I'll wait and see how this turns out.

So this Qwikster thing is dead. Nobody liked it I guess. My plans of getting a Qwikster account have been foiled already.

That's not to say that they won't start carrying games.

This is mostly due to an outcry from customers who have both services not wanting to have to deal with two companies.

I'm still holding strong for the games.

And I love netflix, I really do, they've only burnt me once (the price hike debacle), but they're in quite a mess right now, it seems like everything they do there's a huge back lash(though for the most part, deservedly so). I"m just glad they're listening to customers for the most part and hope they get back on track.

*shrugs* Oh well. *goes back to watching Breaking Bad*
