Nintendo commissioned the Penny Arcade guys to make a Skyward Sword comic. The art is really great!
I'm really liking the comic so far. I look forward to seeing the last few pages.

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
Did you guys read about that game-stopping bug? (TP had one too if you didn't know or forgot) Nintendo will issue a fix for it in the form of a channel.

I wonder why they didn't do that for Other M?

I'm going to assume Nintendo didn't know they could actually send a fix for the save file through a channel. Maybe some employee recently said, "Y'know what, guys? Maybe if any of our future games have game breaking bugs, we can fix the saves through a Wii Channel instead of having players send in their saves on SD Cards." and the higher ups were like, "Dude, that's genius." Or maybe Skyward Sword's save files are formatted in a way that they could actually be changed by a channel should the need arise. Or something.

And as a note, it seems that the channel isn't actually a "patch" of any sort that eliminates the glitch from the game altogether. It just fixes any save file that activated the glitch. Which really kinda proves that Ninty is a little bit...behind the times, to say the least.

Out of curiosity, how far into the game is that quest anyway? I'm still very early into it.

That's one of the last things you do in the game. I think it's the quest you do right before the final boss fight.

I'm guessing it was added Thursday but I just noticed that the Zelda save data fixing channel is up on our Shop Channel. Though I doubt anyone here needs it.

Lol, that's kind of crazy. Better than what they did with Metroid though. I'm finally about ready to delve back into the game... :link:

So uh...

I recently found out about Hyrule Historia, an official Zelda encyclopedia released in Japan in December that features artwork, development stuff...and a timeline.

I never thought Nintendo would give in and give us the timeline. Funny seeing that the split timeline theory was correct.

Wow ... I never thought they would either ... just ... wow.

I guess I'll spoiler this just in case someone wants to maintain the mystery of the timeline.

I'm really amazed they did that.

All the information that was pouring out a month ago or a few weeks ago kept blowing my mind, like origins of names and characters and what not, and then the timeline itself.

A few weeks ago someone turned the timeline into video form, its really nice I should try to find it again.

Though for some weird reason I kinda think this timeline is better. :link:
