Um, really. There's a South Park RPG in development by THQ and Obsidian (the people who brought you KOTOR2, Alpha Protocol, and New Vegas) for PS3 and 360, due out next year.

I'm actually massively interested in this, so I really hope it ends up good. From what I hear, the last SP game (the XBLA tower defense thing) ended up pretty decent. Plus, from the looks of that GI cover, it looks like there will be an actual fantasy theme going on. Obviously, I'm hoping that part of the game will involve returning the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers. :p Or the end of the world...of Warcraft. :p

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
I heard about this a little while ago. I'm not a fan of South Park (don't really like or dislike it) but I'm interested in this just because of how weird this is.

South Park has been pretty poor for the last few years(although this is how I feel about The Simpsons and Family Guy as well) but this sounds slightly interesting. I'll definitely keep my eye out on this.

A little bit more info. There should be more in the latest GI, a digital version of which I have sitting in my inbox, so maybe I'll actually go read that for once. :p
