I just beat New Super Mario Bros. 2! Lots of fun to be had here; I'm still looking forward to seeing how many more coins I can collect, plus I've still got all the special worlds to go through, all the alternate paths and levels to play that I didn't on my way through, and all the star coins to collect. It looks like you need a lot of star coins to get going in Star World if you'd spent of them along the way (I guess I spent quite a few).

I kind of understand Skyward Sword getting put down, HMS, but here's hoping you find the urge to get back into it this month!
Congrats! And thanks! I have started it back up again and making some good progress, I'm about to get the bow & arrow.

I'm slightly surprised at how late in the game I'm getting it compared to past Zelda titles.

I still haven't completed the game 100%. Did you just get the game or have you just been holding off on it for a while? I kinda want to get back into playing it sometime now.

I got it at gamestop a little bit ago, had a coupon for $20 off so it was only $7. Now it's going in my sell pile.

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
Well, after almost 9 years, I finally, finally beat Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. I got it 12/25/03, and it took me this long to beat it...better late than never I guess.

And I've called it one of my favorite games of all time for a long time now without actually beating it.

So in those nine years, did you start over at all or have you just been picking up where you left off?

I've restarted the game many times, usually stopping at or near Bowser's Castle. It wasn't until my latest playthrough that I actually decided to really try beating the game. I still have my very first file (at the last save point) but Mario & Luigi are really weak compared to how they are in the beaten file.

I've been on a Zelda high as of late, finally got around to beating Skyward Sword, Majora's Mask, and now I just completed A Link to the Past, which is the first time I've done so, despite owning it on GBA and having the Wiiware version for three years!

Big thanks to Bermuda for gifting me this game on a fateful Christmas Eve way back in 2009, finally beat it!

Nice that is a lot of Zelda!

I just finished Kirby return to dreamland. It was pretty fun, the ultra powers were a lot of fun.

Nice! I'm still definitely going to get Return to dreamland one of these days. As for Donkey Kong Returns, is it in the sell pile because you didn't like it and didn't enjoy it much? Or just because you're done with it? I still have hopes of getting it someday too, but Kirby first.

And HMS, congrats on the Zelda games you beat! I've got a little itch'n to play and beat some of the Zelda games that I haven't yet too. Maybe I'll start playing Minish Cap now :)
