I beat my first game of the year. Saints Row the Third. The game has been getting a lot of flak about feeling kind of rushed and not being as good as the second. I agree that the story is much weaker and the increased absurdity really diminishes the importance of character development and certain plot points in this game. On the other hand, I really like the gameplay better this time around. I love leveling up my character and you get to the point where you're invincible so I can jump from a plane from like 30,000 feet in the sky and land on my head and walk away.

I beat my first game of the year on Saturday, Mario Kart 7 (getting the golds in all cups and my 1st star as well). Then I didn't stop there, I went for 2 and beat Sonic Generations for 3DS. I really like the 3DS version of the game, it's really great. I thought it was going to be too short, but all the missions, time attack, and online play really extend the amount of fun to be had.

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
"For England James?"
"No, for Wii."

I'm almost disappointed he didn't actually say that. Anyway, I beat GE. Great game! I'm interested in trying again on 007 Classic with non-regenerating health and armor.

Finished the XBLA version of Sonic CD, with all the time stones. So I unlocked tails.

Couple more differences I saw with the game while finishing it up

- In the final battle, Robotnik is kinda easier to hit. Or maybe the hit detection is just better.
- Also in the final battle, the room is smaller. Like the boss of the Flying Fortress stage in Sonic 2, 2 beams appear on both sides of the stage making the battle field about 2 sonic sprites smaller on both sides. (If that makes sense)
- When playing as tails, he has sonic custom sprites and movements. (Mostly in the special stages)
- Not sure, but the Robot Transporters in the past MIGHT be in different locations when playing as tails. I played to Chaos Collision zone and haven't been able to find one. (Though they may have just been removed completely)

Beat my first game of the new year!

Might Switch Force! for Nintendo 3DS!

This is my first Mighty game beaten and I liked it a lot. I have Might Flip CHamps! on PS3, but don't like it as much as I did this(though perhaps I would have enjoyed MFC! more on DS).

Just beat another game in the new year! I just beat The Doctor Who Cloned Me, the Duke Nukem Forever single player DLC.

Over all, I actually enjoyed it slightly better than the actual game. Unfortunately it felt slightly more of the same, and Dr. Proton's return was slightly short lived and under utilized.

It was good to see new boss battles and not just recycled enemies.

Over all, $10 was a tad steep, but I enjoyed it none the less. Its definitely not going to win over anybody who was burned by DNF though.

(And if you haven't noticed, I'm on break from school, which is why I'm beating many games :P)

Man, I'm ready too. I had Tali and Garrus as my main companions for the first two games so hopefully they will be playable in ME3. I will be severely disappointed if they aren't.

Garrus and Wrex are the only party as far as I'm concerned...though I still have to beat the first game. And I guess Tali is runner-up.

From what I have read, the characters who are coming back are all your love interest characters from the first 2 games which would be

ME1

Liara
Ashely (or kaiden)

ME2

Tali
Garrus
Thane
Jacob
Miranda
Jack

And then there is the new guy for ME3

James Vega

I think thats is all the party members for ME3. The rest of the characters will appear during missions as help, but not active party members.
