It not unheard of especially in video games, Fallout 3, Borderlands for example both had stinkers of endings. Fan complained, DLC fixed the problem.

I beat inFamous: Festival of Blood tonight.

It was okay. It was REALLY short though. I was pretty shocked that the game was already over. It seriously felt like it was less than two hours. But I only paid $4 for it, so I do feel like I got my money's worth, and there's still some extra User-Generated missions I can do, so that's nice.

I also just beat 3D Classics: Kid Icarus!

This is the first time I've beaten Kid Icarus so I'm very happy to have done so, the save system totally helped a lot.

The first few levels are absolutely brutal, but once you build up your defenses the game gets easier.

I'm still trudging along. The save system does make a huge difference. I've always had trouble with the first stage, but now I'm on 2-3. I'll beat this game in no time.

Oh cool, that's great to hear. I downloaded it last night after I picked up Uprising. I didn't ever make it very far either.

Also, I beat Kirby Mass Attack this week and then got all the medals (there are 3 or 5 in each level). It was a good fun game and with the checklist plus Bronze, Silver, and Gold ratings to go for on each stage, there's plenty more to go back for.

Tonight I beat a small indie PC title called DLC Quest, a nice satire on the state of downloadable content.

The main object of the game is to earn money to buy DLC packs, offering essential things such as animation, the ability to move left, access the soundtrack, etc.

So I just beat Mass Effect 3. The way everyone's talking about the ending, I thought it would be a lot worse. Not sure what everyone was hoping for, but I thought it was alright.

COming from a guy who's only played a ME game once (a demo) I can't say this for certain. However, from what I heard a common complaint is that the ending goes against everything the ME series stands for with the way its presented to you.

But again, I know nothing of specifics. . .

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
I've heard something along those lines, something like none of your choices actually affecting the endings in a worthwhile way.

Yeah, that's pretty much true. Your actions have pretty much no consequence on the ending, but most loose ends were tied up during the game so I didn't feel cheated out of any closure or anything.
