Over the past few days I've beaten quite a few games! I played and beat the first two episodes of TellTale's The Walking Dead. I've never watched the show nor read the comics, but man, I LOVED this game. It was very fun and the story is simply superb. I cannot wait for the third episode. If you're a fan of TellTale I'd recommend checking it out. Its more in line with Heavy Rain then TellTale's other titles. You control your character and there's kind of puzzles, but you're mostly just reacting to the story. Next up I finally got around to beating Castlevania Lords of Shadow. The game started out slow, really slow, and the Titan boss battles were pretty bad. But y'know what? After defeating the second titan (who just who happened to be the last of their kind thankfully!) the game really picked up and started feeling like a Castlevania game. In the end I loved it! There were some annoyances here and there, mostly camera related, but it was really enjoyable. There's a post-credit sequence and it totally blew my mind and I'm actually really excited for the 3DS sequel now and Lords of Shadow 2. Finally, I got back into Beyond Good & Evil HD and completed that! I actually 100%'d it, I took photos of all the animals and collected all of the pearls and MDisks. I really liked this game and I cannot wait to see more information on the sequel. Now I believe I'm going to get back into Ico! |

I beat KH3D the other day, and overall I would say I really enjoyed it. I thought it started out kind of slow and I was unsure whether I would actually like it. Though I guess I feel that way with each KH games at the beginning. By the end, I was thinking it's one of the better Kingdom Hearts. I never played Birth by Sleep, but I probably should have. There are some spoilers in there. Guess I'll have to buy a PSP one day. Thing is, I used to own a PSP but sold it when I never played it. The next day, they announced BBS. I was rather upset. What I liked about this game was that it was mostly all new areas. When we started off in Traverse Town, I was really dreading I would have to go back to Agrabah. I hear BBS is also new worlds, or at least I saw a Cinderella world. Not sure what else is there. |

Yeah the majority of the levels in BBS is new. There's a Lilo and Stitch level. You return to Neverland but its new areas so I don't mind that at all. |

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.

I beat Persona 4, and in much better time than P3! (70 something in-game hours and 6 months in real life, vs. 106 hours and 2 years for P3) I'm not sure if I have a preference. They both play largely the same but still have their own feel or "flavor" to them. I feel the same way about the Donkey Kong Country games. As for the end parts... Spoiler: click to toggle

I downloaded Sonic Adventure on the PS3 due to a price drop. Initially when I owned the Dreamcast version and GCN version I never bothered getting all of the emeralds. This time around I decided to do EVERYTHING, and tonight I got 100% trophies! Which means I got all the emblems, did all the missions, and beat all of the levels as Metal Sonic. I feel accomplished, and now I believe I'll go through Sonic Adventure 2 100% when it comes out on PSN since I never did that when I was younger on the DC or GCN versions. |

Cool, congrats! I want to do that too even though I did so on DC and GCN. I have it on Xbox Live but not the missions & Metal Sonic pack yet (I hope that got a price drop too!). I barely started it sometime earlier this year, but man it's always such a blast to go back to! I guess that's why I'm excited for SA2 coming in HD, because unfortunately it's graphics didn't age well, but I know it'd be great to play through again. |

I beat the Last Story and it was quite awesome. Going through a NG+ now. I really liked this game. It's definitely one of the best Wii games so I'm glad XSeed went and localized it. |

Thank you! And I'm very interested in seeing what changes they've made to Sonic Adventure 2. Sonic Adventure was a straight up port as I'm sure you've probably noticed (didn't even mess with the aspect ratio, and in fact, they took stuff out :P, since there's no classic games), so it'll be interesting to see if they did anything beyond the graphics with Adventure 2. @Bermuda Congrats! I haven't even started it yet so I've got a ways to go. But I hear its considerably shorter than Xenoblade (I've heard its about 25 hours, sidequests notwithstanding). I decided to go back to Skyward Sword, because for some ungodly reason I put it down and hadn't come back to it yet, I blame school, but thats neither here nor there. So I'm hoping to have it started before October! How would you say it stacks against Xenoblade? I found Xenoblade to be my favorite Wii game this generation, and quite possibly my favorite RPG in quite some time. |

I just beat New Super Mario Bros. 2! Lots of fun to be had here; I'm still looking forward to seeing how many more coins I can collect, plus I've still got all the special worlds to go through, all the alternate paths and levels to play that I didn't on my way through, and all the star coins to collect. It looks like you need a lot of star coins to get going in Star World if you'd spent of them along the way (I guess I spent quite a few). I kind of understand Skyward Sword getting put down, HMS, but here's hoping you find the urge to get back into it this month! |
