I won't be getting my Wii U until tomorrow, but at least I'm guaranteed one. I work overnights at Target and I got off at 7:30 am. There were only maybe about 5 or 6 people in line so I'm wondering if I should have just got in line after work. I don't think many people consider Target when getting in line for a console launch anyways. |

I stood in line at Target to get the Wii six years ago, it was a decent line, but there were apparently enough Wii's for everybody who stood. I hit up K-Mart at first at midnight but they gave their Wii purchases out via raffle so after that failed I went over to Target. |

Nintendo Charging $0.50 for minors to sign up for the Nintendo Network Apparently it's to ensure parent's consent. . .but I still don't get why. . . EDIT: Apparently it's apart of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Edited by Hyper Metal Sonic, Nov 18 2012, 02:08 PM.

I got to hold the Gamepad today at Target. Holy CRAP, people weren't kidding about it being light. It's very comfortable to hold. There were no playable demos unfortunately, only trailers. |

I still haven't tried out the thing. Tomorrow is going to be my first experience with it. If I weren't so busy with work, I don't think I could tolerate this wait very much. Luckily, I have the next two days off so I can get some decent time in with the Wii U. |

My Wii U arrived at 6 and I still haven't had time to play it. I've just been updating and transferring my Wii info for the last couple hours. I got Nintendo Land, NSMBU, Ninja Gaiden, and I downloaded Sonic Racing. I like the eShop. Haven't slept in days. My name on Wii U is Super_Bermuda. Edited by Super Bermuda, Nov 20 2012, 07:57 AM.

Sorry for the triple post, but I thought I'd give my impressions on the games I'm playing. Am I the only one who got one? Seems like I'm the only one posting in this thread. Anyway, here we go. Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed: This is the game I keep going back to. Man I really like it. I loved the first one and this one is also fun. I'd really like to play some online if anyone else has it. Another great thing about this is it is only $40. I highly recommend it. ZombiU: I've played a little of this game and it is tough. Not sure how I feel entirely about it yet, but I am enjoying the game. It has some really cool gamepad features and seems to be the game to go to if your looking for something that can only be done with the WiiU gamepad. Ninja Gaiden 3: I have never played the original, but heard it was awful. I'm not sure what they changed, but this game is fun. I'm liking it. I not too far, and its probably my least played game of the ones I got. The other games I'm playing take priority over this one. New Super Mario Bros U: It's NSMB. That's really all you got to say about it. Flying squirrel and baby yoshi a are cool power ups. If you like the NSMB series, you'll like this one. Nintendo Land: This game is a lot more fun than I expected it to be. I have only played the Zelda, Animal Crossing, Mario Chase, Pikmin and Luigi's Mansion games, but they were all a lot of fun. That's what this game is all about. Good old fashioned fun. Get some friends together to play this one, because that's what it is all about. I don't think there is any online, but this is the kind of game where having people in the same room makes this the most enjoyable. MiiVerse: Oh yeah this thing is pretty cool. It's just a forum on the console. Each game has its own community. I like it. Great addition. One of my favorite things. Like I said before, my name is Super_Bermuda on the Wii U. Add me to your friend list. |

I got one, but it's sitting in my closet. I was hoping to sell it but there's a Lot of competition on eBay and if there's no money to be made I may keep it... |

I have no idea when I'll be getting one, so I won't have much to talk about now that the console is actually out and the speculation is over. Also, the data transferring animation! It's really great they made something interesting to look at while the data is being moved. |

Maybe the prices will get better (for you :P) once it's a little closer to Christmas? And Bermuda, glad you're enjoying it thus far. I got mine in the mail a few days ago, but I can't have it till Christmas. I wasn't very interested in Sonic, but it's on my list of considerations now just for the price, also cool that if I get it I'll have someone to race with. I think my first guaranteed purchase is New Super Mario Bros. U, and then I'm debating over Scribblenauts Unlimited, ZombiU, or Sonic. |
