I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.

What does that mean exactly? I hope it means that DS games won't look blurry in fullscreen or too small in the other mode. |

Well that's a plus for me then. It'll probably make Black and White 2 more enjoyable to play. DS games were kind of blurry on the 3DS. |

I love my DSi XL, so this is something I am really interested it. The bigger screens make it much easier for me to play JRpgs. Plus I have $100 in best buy gift cards. Not sure what I'll do with my current 3DS though. Also, Dragon suggested smash 4 as a cross over. What do you guys think of a Namco Vs Nintendo game? I think it wold be very cool. Namco is one of the companies with the characters to make it work. I mean, it would be neat to see PAC-man, Jin, and Klonoa in the brawl! Edited by Einar T., Jun 23 2012, 09:52 AM.

I wanted to post this when the 3DS XL was first announced, so I proceed to do so now... At first I was taken by surprise and was thinking 'how could they do this so soon?' I wasn't too happy about the announcement, but I quickly warmed up to it. I loved my DSi XL as well, so I've decided that I'm going to sell it to get the 3DS XL! I know I will love the bigger screens and I'm quite happy to hear how good the DS games will look because I really don't like how some of them look on the 3DS. So I want to get a red 3DS XL, but I may not be able to right when it comes out, we'll see. Oh and another announcement that I really liked is the 8-bit summer! I'm looking forward to some of the other Game Boy games that I've never played coming out for download this month :) Edited by CHAOSGAMMA, Jul 9 2012, 06:52 PM.

It's not weird at all that they announced the XL now. The Lite was announced a little over a year after the original DS came out. |

Good point. The time has flown by so fast that it just doesn't seem like the 3DS has been out that long, but it has already been almost a year and a half. |

Seriously, it still feels like it was just yesterday that the 3DS was first shown at that conference. |

Well there's a new Nintendo Direct going on tomorrow night covering the Wii and 3DS (not Wii U). Wonder if anything new will be shown? |
