Well gang, it's a new year with a new set of games to beat! I started 2013 off by beating Little Inferno for the Wii U. This title is quite fun and I enjoy it a lot more than I thought I would. The game play is very very simple and there's really not all that much to do, but watching things burn is quite addicting and the story is actually quite engaging. I just beat Arkham City as well! I absolutely loved it! I had zero interest in doing any of the bonus stuff in Arkham Asylum, I didn't find any of it interesting, save for playing as The Joker, but I'm really interested in doing a lot of the bonus/side missions/content in City, especially the Riddler trophies (never thought I'd do that!) I dunno if I'll ever 100% it, but I'm definitely going to do more. |

Congrats to both of you, That game was my GOTY 2011! :p Good luck on the challenges, I put a LOT of time into the game and I still only have 96% completed. Some of the intense maps are just that Intense. |

Beat Mass Effect 2 last night! Over all, Mass Effect 1 was a much better game in pretty much every aspect, but I still enjoyed the sequel quite a bit, especially towards the end with the final mission. At least the AI was improved, that was my only qualm with the first game, your team mates were dumb as dirt. Playing through the Arrival DLC now, and will be starting ME3 soon! I saw that it was only $20 on Amazon so I purchased it on Friday and it came today. I might start it today, download some of the free DLC ahead of time, but I won't get serious into it for a few more days, going to try to finish up RE6 this week, or at least Jake's story (did Chris and Leon already, got Jake and Ada left). EDIT: Oh another thing I liked better in ME2 was there weren't as many repeated areas. Actually, I don't think there were any, a few areas may have used the same assets but just rearranged but that's no big deal. Edited by Hyper Metal Sonic, Jan 14 2013, 04:15 PM.

I trust all your squad survived the suicide mission? And who was your love interest? Was it Tali? (she was my love interest) Tali is pretty awesome. |

Indeed they did, I admit I cheated though and looked up strategies because I didn't want to make any mistakes. Although, most of the choices seemed rather obvious (save for who to take with you into the final boss, depending on your loyalty status and a few other factors that might screw you up) in the end, I just didn't want to take any chances. I played as Fem Shep, so in ME1 I had a relationship with Liara, then in ME2 I got friend zoned with Liara and struck a relationship with Garrus, however, I was friendly with Kelly :P. Spoiler: click to toggle In ME1 my main crew was typically always Garrus and Tali. I like Tali a lot as well. I used her a lot less in ME2, mostly due to getting her near the end of the game and Thane being too cool of a dude to pass up on. I did take her into the final battle with me though. In ME3, I intend on continuing the relationship with Garrus. His awkwardness about interspecies erotica is too good to pass up on again. |

That's too bad, I know a lot of People who made that mistake. I know just the part you mean. When it happened to me, I went charging into the final act of the game. |

Last night I beat Harley Quinn's Revenge on Batman Arkham City. It was eh. I would be a little more sour if I had to buy it, but since it was on the disc I can't complain too much. It was just very anti climatic. I dunno if they're holding off for the third Arkham game to show some of the after effects of what Batman went through in the city Spoiler: click to toggle , but I just expected a little more closure with this post-game DLC since the regular campaign just kind of. . .ended. I wanted a little more than Batman sulkily walking away and Gordon asking Robin if he's going to be okay. (Which is practically how the main game ended)I guess I'll just have to see where they go with the next Arkham game. Although I've heard rumors that it could possibly be a prequel, or have involvement of the Justice League, so that might take some attention away from Batman. . .
