LucasFilm has announced that they are ending the Clone Wars animated series and will begin production on a new series that takes place in an era that the films or cartoons haven't touched yet (they don't mention video games, so it could be something in relation to that). I liked the Clone Wars series, despite never actually watching it very often, but I'm really glad they're moving on. We've been stuck in the Clone Wars for far too long and have had way too many adaptations. I mean it is a big aspect of the universe but I think they have exhausted too much resources on it so it'll really be interesting to see where they turn next. I think The Old Republic would be nice, but at the same time I'd like something completely different. |

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.

Wow, I didn't realize the series was running for 5 seasons. I wish I had gotten into it since it seems to be pretty good. I hate jumping into the middle though (well, more like the end.) I need to watch things in order. |

Agreed on both of your points: 1. I too think we've seen enough about the Clone Wars now (perhaps more than enough) and glad to hear that they'll be moving on to work on something new. 2. I rarely ever watch something from the middle/end; I have to go back to the beginning and can't miss an episode (in anything that is a continuous story that is). I did see the first two seasons and really enjoyed them, so I've been wanting to get season 3 through Netflix (or purchase) and start watching the rest of the series. We'll see how soon this happens... |
