I've been paying attention to more and more Kickstarter funded games recently and thought maybe a thread for them should be in order.

So another game I'm înterested in is getting a Kickstarter. Shantae: Half-Genie Hero by WayForward. It'll be for all HD consoles and Steam. No console stretch goal for them. The goal is only 400,000 and they got about 75,000 right now on their first day.

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.
The only Kickstarter I ever backed was for a remake of Pro Pinball: Timeshock, though it didn't reach its goal.

One I'm interested in right now is Project Phoenix, an indie RPG that'll be developed by a lot of experienced people in the industry, both Eastern and Western.

UnderTale reached its goal a long time ago but I'm looking forward to it coming out.

Very excited for this. The game looks beautiful. I plopped down $12 for the early bird deal.

And good idea for a thread, I was considering doing this myself xD.

Uwe Boll is at it again, I kind of want to donate to see what he'll do next.

His latest non-video game projects have surprisingly been pretty okay.

I love Kickstarter! I backed the Veronica Mars movie and the Skullgirls kickstarter.

Shantae's funding is over!

It made about $776,000 on kickstarter and enough via paypal to push it over the edge for its 800k stretchgoal!

Shame it didn't make its final goal of animated cut scenes. I hope the rest of the bonus chapters are done as DLC or something, if the game proves popular enough.

Well they are still accepting donations through paypal, and that will go towards any remaining stretch goals. Hopefully they can hit another or so.

I just saw this today, Shiness. An action RPG made by a French developer, running on UE3. Looks very nice, and it's already more than halfway to its goal. The target platforms are PC and Mac, and the first stretch goal is for a PS4 version.

It's also on Steam Greenlight, so if you're interested, vote for it!
