Check it out It's Sonic BOOM Nothing much to see yet but it's using unique art direction (look at knuckles!) based on what I read, the info in the article. It's going to be 11 minute half shows like adventure time or regular show. (Or the old nicktoons) IDK I'm not saying they should bring back satAM but IMO why not base the a cartoon on the Archie comic? |

I think I"m most disappointed at the fact that its going to be CGI. I know Sonic's now a CGI series, and its much easier and cheaper to do, but it won't be the same! :P Being only 11 minutes long seems like its going to put a real emphasis on the comedy aspect of the show, and I feel like they might put that before story, but AoStH did that too and it wasn't so bad. I'll have to see some footage before I make judgement, but I'm cautiously optimistic! Get Jaleel White back! |

Well it's going to be a kids show, I will declare it a success if it's better then Sonic X which I am convinced put Sonic in his dark years! :p In the end if they make a toy line, I'll get knuckles for sure! |

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.

Huh...those silhouettes are interesting...well, mostly Knuckles. I'm really curious to see what he looks like. It's giving me "90s extreme" vibes... And HMS, if you read the full article from Sega's blog, it says it'll be a comedy. |

Yeah I knew that already, that's why I said it'll emphasize the comedy aspect :P. A show can be both a comedy and be story driven. But since its only 11 minutes long I wouldn't be shocked if nothing carries over from episode to episode. Adventure Time does a good job of having an over all arc even if every episode doesn't devote to it. That's why I have hope! And yeah Einar, anything better than Sonic X will be nice! But I guess Sonic X's shortcomings were mostly due to 4Kids. . .not entirely, but I'd say they're most to blame. |

Wow, this is going to be on Cartoon Network! Count me interested! The silhouettes look really good (but why is Knuckles so big?). I think this has some real potential, so let's just hope they get the characters right and don't blow it. I think it'll be very interesting to see how the characters interact. Edit: And yeah it'd be great if they got Jaleel back! Edited by CHAOSGAMMA, Oct 18 2013, 11:28 AM.

Yeah, KNuckles really is the weirdest. Amy and Tails look spot on (in their shape at least obviously :P) Sonic's spikes seem to deviate a little but everything else looks okay, but Knuckles is almost unrecognizable at first. I thought it was Storm the Albatross at first xD. |

Video Game adaptation heading to Wii U and 3DS: http://www.gonintendo.com/?mode=viewstory&id=221884 Interesting to say the least. . . The designs look very meh but I'll hold out hope as more info is released. EDIT: More info being dumped. Wii U version being developed by Big Red Button, a team led by Ex-Naughty Dog devs. 3DS version is being handled by Sanzaru (Sly Cooper 4 and the HD ports, its in good hands). 4 player co op (no duh), no online (no duh, but bummer none the less). Wii U version running in CryEngine 3. Both games are being developed in collaboration with Sonic Team Game overall is similar in structure to Sonic Adventure, in that it'll feature a main hub and missions branching off that Trailer for the TV series (More like a scene): Looks pretty cool! Some episode plots include: - one episode of the show has Sonic firing Tails from his sidekick position - Eggman applies for the position - Eggman tries to get into Modern Lair Magazine and, after losing again to Sonic, he fakes an injury and takes Sonic to court Okay okay, that's REALLY silly, but could be a lot of fun. Hope its well made and written. There will be 52 episodes, each 11 minutes long, and they will air during the 2014-2015 season. SEGA says this series won't replace modern Sonic.
