It's coming to PC, 360, Xbox 1 (for some reason), ps3, and ps4 but not the Wii U! It will have a western release in 2015. Frankly I am baffled that it's coming to xbone but not Wii U! Last I checked the Wii u has a larger install base and xbone as of this writing isn't even out in Japan! Seriously what the heck capcom! I want this game but might skip it. I've more or less stopped buying new games for the past gen and have zero interest in the new ones cause they have no games beyond infamous: again, and call of Titanfall. >_> even by the time this comes out in the US they still won't have anything interesting. Oh boy a Halo collection, and uhhhhh I can't think of anything coming to PS4 I care about. I'd get it for computer but OH WAIT NO MAC VERSION EITHER! If 2k can port bioshock to iOS surely capcom could make the REmake available to Mac users. Seriously who makes these decisions!? Nuts to capcom I'm gonna buy a copy of the remake for Wii and play it on my Wii U! /rant Edited by Einar T., Aug 5 2014, 07:12 AM.

REmake is maybe my favorite Resident Evil game. I was excited by your thread topic, but sad when I heard no Wii U. I guess if I really want it, I can get it on PS4. PS4 has been very disappointing to me so far, but I guess there are some games coming out by the end of 2015? |

I'm a bit in my cups at the moment.

To be fair, what do you expect? Consoles always have crap for the first year or so. Look at the DS, that was a wasteland until 2006. Same with the 3DS in its first year. I'll probably get this on PC since I don't have RE1 in any form. |

I learned my lesson with the 3DS I didn't get a Wii U at launch and never plan to be an early adaptor again. |

Depending on the console I usually don't mind early adopting. It usually gives me a reason to try out some of the more experimental third party games that I probably wouldn't play once there was a larger library out. Also I have a huge backlog on all last gen consoles that there will ALWAYS be something for me to play when I have nothing to play on my new toy. I mostly only early adopt with Nintendo products and usually don't get too disappointed because of the reasons mentioned above (even though there are plenty of times when I have nothing on the new system to play). The addition of digital and online shops make the droughts much easier to cope with. If I were to buy a PS4 today I'd have at least 10 free games to play on it thanks to PS+. *looks at topic* Oh yeah. Pretty exciting stuff. I'm glad its not just a High Res version like RE4 and Code Veronica were. It looks like they're putting forth a little extra effort with this. I'll probably wait and pick it up on PS4 when I have one. I'm in no rush. I'm bummed there's no Wii U version, but since I have elsewhere to play its no big deal I guess. |
