Thats why I don't really like that site anymore. I used to think just the teen BB section sucked, now it's leaking over into the PL section <_< Nice post too man Quote: Originally Posted by Irish Squatter lets compare all u 168lbs powerlifters raw stats against my stats. Alright, when I was around 155lbs Deadlift: 455x2/ ~475 TRUE ATG squat: 325 Parallel squat: ~385 Bench: 275 Don't really know the other lifts. I was 16 years old at the time of those lifts...still am too. Actually, the deadlift and ATG squat was done when I was 15 years old. So... 16 years old and 155lbs. |

Well, I actually like bb.com a lot. It's just that there is a lot of garbage there unfortunately, but there is a lot of entertainment and info to be had for sure. Haha thanks. Not to take anything away from that guy, but he's also 3 years older.. |

The guy won't give up. I have showed him: Powerlifters hold the records for the highest ever squat, bench, deadlift, raw and equipped, plus they also hold "records" for the highest body to lift ratios in the squat, bench, deadlift, raw and equipped. He doesn't even back up a word he says, yet for most of the facts I've put down I've backed myself up. Damnit, when will this guy freakin quit. |

I think your wasting your time arguing with that kid, sounds like he just likes to hear himself talk. Maybe he should try backing up his words with proof and studies and maybe people will listen.

Yeah, I agree. Some of the posts over at BB.com are getting ridiculously repetitive. |

i dunno, i always thought all PLers had been lifting for like 20 years and more, so of course theyd be stronger, but this topic is confusing.

What exactly is the argument? Link isnt working for me. If your arguing whos stronger powerlifters or bbers then its powerlifters at least in the 3 comp lifts. Who cares though really..we all have diff goals and diff objectives. Do what makes you happy and quit bitching. That kid seems full of his self and was just talking shit. Ignore his ass. |
