NERDS BEING NERDS! Chances are that the fallout games sold better and most likely liked more by more people, plus I thought the level system in Oblivion was jacked, so it makes sense to change it and include a perk like system. So what if an old system changes, bunny is right, its an old system, it makes sense to change into a more popular format and one that isn't so dang incomprehensible to new players.

IN OTHER WORDS... DUMBING IT DOWN.

BUT STILL THOUGH...

I don't really care. On the one hand, I liked being able to out-run horses. On the other hand, it took over 100 hours to level up fucking Athletics enough to do it.

NUMBERS TOO COMPLICATED. I JUST WANT TO HIT THE 'A' BUTTON AND KILL THINGS.

I can't wait until Elder Scrolls VI when they realize that body part specific armor is too complicated for today's audience and Bethesda "streamlines" it into outfits.

HOT DAMN THOUGH THAT'S A NICE BEARDZ.

You level up Athletics by walking, Dim. I don't think anyone could possibly have not understood how leveling worked in Oblivion. It's just that it was kind of stupid.

What pray tell, is this "walking" of which you speak? Is it in any way related to perks, by chance?
Forgive me I am not as worldly, it seems, as you good sir. I am but a humble console game enthusiast, and have heretofore not learnt the ways of the personal computerist.

Might I also say that you have an impeccable BEARDZ, fellow.

Oh, Dim, thank you for proving that PC gaming erodes your mind to the point you don't even understand the concept of physical activity anymore.

seriously the leveling was stupid and overly contrived in oblivion. if making a better game is the same as dumbing it down in your eyes then so be it.

I'm hoping that the beard selection is quite extensive, unlike Fallout's which was rather limited.

i thought it was a widely held opinion that oblivion's leveling was complete garbo. Why are all you nerds defending it all of a sudden
And they wondered how he dealt with stress so well
Wild guess? You could say he stay sedated
