I will say this

DO NOT LISTEN TO REVIEWERS FOR THIS GAME

THIS GAME IS NOT MADE FOR SHORT TERM PLEASURE, IT'LL TAKE A WHILE TO DEVELOP

The game is a blast to play when the lag doesn't take over, and it will be a great tight knit community in it eventually. probably end up being like shadowrun of tf2 360.

So basically you're saying to buy it on the PC if we get it at all?

I would say no, because it will never get the type of support tf2 got

I actually prefer the 360 version due to SMART button and iron sights (hate using iron sights in PC games)

Obviously it won't get the type of support TF2 got. No game does. TF2 has literally gotten hundreds of updates for free. It's updated basically every week at least once. Most of those updates are bug fixes and balancing tweaks, but still, that's a hell of a lot more for free than any other game I can think of.

However, one of the main concerns that you guys keep voicing about this game is lag, lag, LAG. Well, on the PC with dedicated servers that's not really an issue, provided you don't join servers on the other side of the world like Ben does to play with us.

I can see your point about the iron sights, but I don't see how the SMART button would be a problem. Couldn't you just map it to a button that's easy to press while doing other stuff too, like shift, or even one of your extra mouse buttons?

Yeah, this game is better on PC just because of the dedicated servers. I have quit a few people on my Steam FL that have Brink, just like I'm sure most of you do.

Yea pretty much this. From what he's saying it sounds like he just isn't comfortable using mouse and keyboard.

Also how can you prefer one version to the other without having played it on the other?

Doesn't seem too unreasonable.

If someone doesn't like using the mouse and keyboard at all, it's safe to say they are always going to prefer a console release.

Personally, I prefer the console for single-player games, as I can chill on my couch in front of my plasma. But the computer is nicer for online games because of the customization that most PC games allow, and also due to dedicated servers. And, of course, the mouse and keyboard.

It just doesn't seem comfortable to me the way the mouse and keyboard work. I prefer a button for that stuff as opposed to a key.

Also, Iron Sights are my bane on PC

but yeah, the problem is that there's too many people playing the game right now, once people stop playing then game will be a lot less laggy.
