Have you missed all of the other HD remakes that are exactly the same somehow? How about the original xbox titles on XBL that aren't HD but still cost like $15? These RE games will be $10-15 each, by the way. I guarantee it.

HD remakes, you mean? Well, if you're stuck on the xbox like an idiot then you have Beyond Good & Evil and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath (maybe). If you own a Playstation, then you have the God of War, Prince of Persia, Sly Cooper and Splinter Cell (upcoming) collections to look forward to in addition to the two games xbox will have. Also Ico and Shadow of the Colossus and the inevitable others that will be coming. I hear the other Oddworld games are getting the HD treatment, actually.

ok sooo all you have is rumors and along with beyond good and evil strangers wrath are games not many people owned and is hard to find, and because of word of mouth people now want to play. and prince of persia never was remade that was its own game tardo. and god of war was sold as a bundle it was 2 games for like $10 if i remember correctly.

They're all sold on PSN separately, Bunny. It's not a rumor. I own the Sly collection, Ben has the Prince of Persia games (and yes, dipshit, it was Sands of Time, Warrior Within and Two Thrones. I have seen them on PSN myself. $15 each), and everything but Splinter Cell and the Ico/SotC collections have long since been released. BG&E and Stranger's Wrath have been confirmed for May on PSN, by the way.

Bunny, you have no idea what you're talking about.

putting something on download isnt a remake :\

also they do that they are just making the game playable in hd not overhauling the graphics.

No, it's about the HD ports of RE4 and Code Veronica which, by your own definition, are not remakes. Get the fuck out.

bubbles is right about the shit being just HD ports to ps3. I rented god of war collection and they are the same game just "HD" even though god of war 2 for the ps2 already did 720p

fuuuuuck they are remaking 4 there is no point to that its already pretty modern looking and its not that good, re4 is one of the few games i played and never beat because of boredom, literally no point to this. other than to sucker tards into buying the game again for the slight resolution upgrade. this game isnt even that old.

 you fail

Have you missed all of the other HD remakes that are exactly the same somehow?  How about the original xbox titles on XBL that aren't HD but still cost like $15?  These RE games will be $10-15 each, by the way.  I guarantee it.

The point of HD remakes has generally been to bring a dying classic from the last generation into the new one. Games like Ico, Beyond Good & Evil, Splinter Cell, Sands of Time, etc. are all a good 5-8 years old and were pretty damn hard to find before the remakes started bringing attention back to them, and some still are. RE4, on the other hand, just got re-released three years ago on two modern platforms and was never the least bit difficult to find to begin with.

Just seems like Capcom could have chosen much better titles to revive, but instead they went with a popular one that didn't really need the treatment just because it was going to get them a lot of money. I love RE4, it's nice to see it still hanging in there and all, but this was just kind of pointless.

Like what? Any Capcom game worth playing already was remade for the Wii. Except maybe Viewtiful Joe, I don't think that's seen the light of day in a long time. I'd like to see a Devil May Cry collection, but other than those two I can't think of anything.

Also PoP Two Thrones, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and SotC were released at about the same time as RE4. Why the fuck are you people complaining, anyway? You're going to buy it anyway, maybe you all should learn to stop bitching and enjoy it when they give you a decent game to play.

Edit: By the way, Code Veronica? Originally a Dreamcast game. Shit game though it may be, I think that that may counter balance RE4's relative newness somewhat. You're still whiny little pricks though.
