Thinking about it, Widge gets these small (i.e. under half a centimetre in diameter) matted things on his underside near his back legs, where he has virtually no hair to speak of! I use childrens hair conditioner to 'lift' them away from his skin and then just trim them off. What hair he hs in this area is so fine, it's very hard to unravel, so ironically the problem should go away when he grows more (and coarser) hair down there. |
