Having a dog glued to your leg, like the collies and GSDs is not compulsary, as long as your dog keeps the same distance from you and the lead does not keep going tight you should not be penalised. You do need to work on keeping your dogs attention though so she doesn't keep sniffing and looking around, I would try to do this using your voice rather than food or toys as when you get in the ring you can't use these but you can say as much as you like in the lower classes. |
