It's highly unlikely that Brandy is at any risk at all from anything at all - you've followed the instructions to the letter and as far as I'm aware Devon is not a cluster area. Please don't let yourself get all het up - Brand's a healthy, active, lovely dog with a very caring owner - and I'm willing to bet good money that she's not at risk in the slightest! (.... and you've absolutely no idea what a skinflint I am with the folding stuff!)
