Chatterbox Posts: 864 Group: Full Members Member #646 Joined: April 15, 2008	Because of Rascal's foot condition his nails grows a lot quicker than normal and are also a lot thicker than normal, also they are black which doesn't help :err: But luckily I had started him getting used to his nails being trimmed from a puppy. I started with taking the smallest bit off and giving him a treat, and also did it at night when he is more tired out and chilled, and used high value rewards. So now he's pretty used to it and although not particularly pleased to get it done, will let me clip them while my husband holds him and gives him a treat after each nail. Without the treats there would no chance what so ever of him putting up with us doing it. :devil: :D Edited by Red Rascal, Sep 25 2008, 06:44 PM.
