Posts: 5,822 Group: Full Members Member #134 Joined: November 17, 2005	Laura check out the groomers in your area - quite often they run training on the premises (not particularly cheaply either) but it's a good way of getting your hands on a lot of different dogs and building your confidence up. Alternatively check out City & Guilds courses on the net. Equipment will set you back a fair amount - basics would be grooming table, arm or H frame, good scissors/thinners, 2 pairs good clippers (need two because they get hot very quickly!) full set of blades(just that alone isn't going to leave you much change from Ł1,000) before you even get to the brushes/combs end of it. I've thought about it a couple of times.
