Squeaker Posts: 87 Group: Full Members Member #742 Joined: October 30, 2008	Hi one of my Borders Jake has to have his anal glands squeezed now & again & his stools are normal, it's just one of those things with him, i always know when they need done as when he's lying next to you the most horrendous smell hits you.....pure rotten fish :lol: i always get the vet to do it because they can become infected, this happened when he was younger but not so much now, the last thing i'd ever do is have them removed as it is the most painful op i remember the vet telling me & it can cause other problems.
